Tasty Tool

As seen in MAKE 01 Toolbox

From the clever domain name department comes http://del.icio.us. Forget Yahoo's categorized links and Google's web directory,
del.icio.us is a far tastier treat. del.icio.us is a collaborative bookmark collection that allows users to file their links under categories of their own creation. This means you can find information here on everything from programming (del.icio.us/tag/programming) to Wankel rotary engines (del.icio.us/tag/wankel_rotary_engine).

Here's how it works: first, you sign up for a free account. As soon as you're finished, del.icio.us will point you to the Post Del.icio.us link that takes you to the bookmark-posting page. Put this bookmarklet somewhere acces-sible, like in the bookmarks bar of your browser.

So, let's say you find a site about building hovercrafts. Simply click on the "post del.icio.us" link you got earlier, and type in "hovercraft" as the category. Now that hovercraft link will show up at del.icio.us/yourusername. It'll also show up at del.icio.us/tag/hovercraft, as well as on the front page of del.icio.us. New links are always coming in, making del.icio.us a killer time-waster. Now you can find that link from any computer.
